Is anyone out there playing a Fender J or P bass through a Sansamp DI and Bassman 100 amp?

Thanks for the *Baloney Pop*. I was wondering if you plugged your Sansamp into the front of the amp, or used the effects jack in the back? I seem to get more tone control with it plugged into the front input jack, but was wondering how the rest of the world used it. Do you recall your favorite settings on the Sansamp?

I ran mine in front of the amp. Not through the effects loop. I used it just to get a little grind from my bass and amp. The settings I used were:
Level: 10 oclock
Blend: 5 oclock
Treble: 12 oclock
Bass: 12 oclock
Drive: 3 oclock
Presence: 12 oclock

Hope this helps.

Cool!

I play blues and bluesrock, so I have it set a little more bumpy than grindy. Blend maxed, treble 9:00, bass 12:00, just a taste of gain, a little bit of presence. Add a little more bottom with the amp. Add that together with a dash of panache, and you get a pretty cool sound.

Later on!
