Hi all! I'm a (cough, cough) 6 stringer and am helping a good friend repair his Ripper Bass. I need a new 4 way rotary switch and can't seem to find one. I also need 4 new saddles (I've found a few sites that carry these) and some help with wiring, mabey a schematic.
Thanks! Milkbone
PS Help me and mabey I'll list my primo pair of Altec Lansing 421A 15s up for grabs:) |

the varitone rotary switch is going to be hard to find, although epiphone does make an eb-3 bass which has one. I'd look into getting one of those.
the saddles available online (allparts) are not exact copies; they're much smaller/shorter. to get the originals, try classicax.com. originals are sort of pricey, though, around $25 per saddle & adjustment screw.
for a schematic, go to gibsonbass.com
how much for the altec lansings? |

| Thanks for the info. I'll check into it. Make me an offer that I can't refuse for the Altecs. I live in NJ and these things are about 22 Lbs. apiece so consider shipping. Thanks! |

They make replacements here

also I saw one for sale for $100 on a Gibson vintage parts dealer somewhere. _________________ Barkless Dog |
