I had a hum in the used 350x I bought. It happened when my bass was not hooked to the Active jack. As long as the Active jack had a plug in it..it was ok.
Problem was one of the fingers was not shorting to ground because of the finger not contacting. Put a plug into the Jack and then readjusted the metal finger so it would contact with the plug removed. Thought I would share this information with you in case you have similar hum problem. I also put a piece of foam into the cavity with the metal finger to act like a spring so it would keep it pressed downward with no plug inserted.

Disreguard the post concerning the Heater mod. It was a tube problem. This mod helped that tube but when several others were tried it made them worse. I put it back to normal configuration and the problem cleared.
Sorry for any problems this suggestion may have caused.
