I need a combo amp for jazz band as I must leave my half stack at my band's drummer/guitarist's house, for I can't lug it around to there two or three times a week. I'm looking for a used one, 100ish watts or more. Any suggestions? _________________ Hey. |

| Yorkville or Ashdown would be my first choices. |

Fender Bassman 100. Not as "cool" as some but they sound amazingly good. _________________ There are the black days of loathing and pain and then there are the bad days...

Try A HArtke if yo need to save some bucks, if yo goit the cash grab the PEavey Bam 210 it is 500 watts (with ext) 350 with the two tens, it has great effects built in to it and it sounds great, I almost bought one but I wanted a full rig instead.
The Fender Rumble 100 is not bad either, it did not seem to have the midrange drive that I like but it is a 15. |

IMHO, look for a used swr workingman's 12 amp - It's small and light for a bass amp, but it still packs a lot of punch - I'm using a spector, washburn 5 string, and yamaha fretless with it, and I'm pleased. when needed, I've added a peavey 15 cab or a soundtech active subwoofer.
Hope this helps! Joe _________________ Joe Taylor |
