The BX3000T is ok, but I think you'd be better off to save up about $70 more and get yourself an Ashdown MAG head, which has 307 watts RMS, and better construction and electronics and sound than the Behringer in my opinion!

I bought a 300 watt berhinger head 2 months ago and am very pleased!
I have played bass for 20 years and owned a lot of differnt equipment
from ampeg to peavey to traynor and so on....the behringer is a no brainer! Buy it and if your afraid of it breaking buy an extended warrenty
(mine was 24.00) and jam down. |

I just bought the BX3000T and am looking for a cabinet now. My budget is fairly low, so my options are a decent 1X15, 2X10, 2X12 or a cheaper 4X10.
Behringer does not appear to make any 4ohm cabinets smaller than 4X10, and I've heard bad things about their 4X10 cabinets. I'm leaning toward the 2X12, but don't know much about Bass gear as I'm a guitar player currently converting to bass. How do the dfferent types of cabinets listed above differ in sound?
The cabinets I'm looking at are a Peavey 1X10, Eden 2X12, Behringer 4X10. |
