| Does anyone know what Geezer from Black Sabbath used as far as strings? His tone sounds like they might be flatwound? |

La bella makes some awesome strings! for the price, Id go with rotosounds, though. rotosound caters to us Gibby-thumpin short-scale abusers... I noticed in one of your other posts that you were worried about your fretless neck getting scarred up by round-wounds.. try black nylon tapewounds! they are basicly light guage round-wound strings that have been tightly wrapped in thick black nylon tape, alot easier on fingers & fretboards than roundwounds. _________________ --==Warum tut es weh, wenn ich pinkele?==-- |

Thanks, Everybody. I went crazy with the credit card and bought a few
sets of D'Addario roundwounds, GHS flatwounds, and even a set of the
Labella Black Nylon Tapewounds. I really want to check out the tapewounds
to see what they're like! Even though the prices were dirt cheap, I still
over spent - looks like ramen noodles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner this week!
Thanks Again Everyone,

hey, ramens are the musicians friend! (wait, is that a copyright infringement?) I love ramens, they usually indicate a new toy in the house when they`re on the table.... _________________ --==Warum tut es weh, wenn ich pinkele?==-- |

Geezer Butler uses DR strings. DR are the best strings ever _________________ I am Zak, I am an inspring bassit. I am in love with bass and this is what I plan to do with the rest of my life. My favorite bassits are Les Claypool, Steve Digorgio, Tom Araya, Jeff Berlin, Boosty Collins, and James Laymen |
