Does anyone know what Geezer from Black Sabbath used as far as strings? His tone sounds like they might be flatwound?

La bella makes some awesome strings! for the price, Id go with rotosounds, though. rotosound caters to us Gibby-thumpin short-scale abusers... I noticed in one of your other posts that you were worried about your fretless neck getting scarred up by round-wounds.. try black nylon tapewounds! they are basicly light guage round-wound strings that have been tightly wrapped in thick black nylon tape, alot easier on fingers & fretboards than roundwounds.

Thanks, Everybody. I went crazy with the credit card and bought a few
sets of D'Addario roundwounds, GHS flatwounds, and even a set of the
Labella Black Nylon Tapewounds. I really want to check out the tapewounds
to see what they're like! Even though the prices were dirt cheap, I still
over spent - looks like ramen noodles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner this week!

Thanks Again Everyone,
Bassdogs Rocks!

hey, ramens are the musicians friend! (wait, is that a copyright infringement?) I love ramens, they usually indicate a new toy in the house when they`re on the table.... Twisted Evil
