I'm looking for a good hollow-body bass. I've heard some really nice sounding Gibson hollow-bodies, but I can never tell what they are. Does Gibson even make hollow-bodies anymore?

yep...EB-2`s were the gibson hollowbody, but theyre not made anymore... Epiphone *choke* makes a hollowbody, but the original EB-2 is far superior

Although no relation to the EB-2, Yamaha has a hollowbody for $600 or $700 dollars. Ibanez and Dean have models for $400 (they don't look as nice).

I bought a semi-hollowbody Spector Spectorcore 5 fretless for $550 in my local music shop. It's a tone machine.

Eb-2's can be had for around $1000- $1200. I know a lot of people love the Jack Cassidy Epiphone. You can get one of those for under $600.
