I currently drive a pair of SWR Triads with a Hartke HA7000. Would a biamp setup using 4.5XL and 115BXL, or whatever it's called, sound significantly better? What about the Hartke VX series - a 4x10 with tweeter and 1 x 15?

The VX is nice stuff. I prefer the Transporter, no tweeter.
If used with 15 or preferably an 18. It is full of more than any human can handle. ( its really nice ) I use a Hartke 3500, Transporter 410 and an OLD fender 18. Its a beautiful thing.
I somtimes us a newer Fender 15 too, its just a 300 watt combo.
I sometimes use it with the 410. Its nice too. I had a hard time beliving that it sounded so good being that it was just a Combo 15 with a 410 plugged in to it... but it really rocks.
Good Luck.
