| I just ordered a new SWR 2x10c workingman's combo amp, I know it runs 260 watts @ 8 ohms in the internal cabnet or 400 watts @ 4 ohms with 8 ohm extension speaker, but I would like to purchase the SWR 2x10t workingman's extention speaker that uses 8 Ohm for 200 watts. Im not exacly sure how to hook this cab to my new amp or what ohms I should have for it to coperate corectly with the 2x10c. I hope you can help, thank you. |

| Should be no problem. Two 8 ohm loads in parallel will give you a four ohm load total, which is what you will be doing if you hook them together. Usually there's a jack on the combo for hooking up and extension cab, just run another cable (the same as your bass guitar to cab cable, usually 1/4" to 1/4") from the cab to the extension cab. At least I think that's how it works ^_^. Nice setup BTW. |
