I have a Roland Jazz Chorus - 120 combo (which i've been practicing on for a couple of years), a Marshall JCM Bass Series 2x15 cab that I just got today(which i connected to the external speaker thing on the back of the Roland and it sounded pretty good... the low B wasn't being distorted). The Marshall cab is 8 ohms and it says 8 ohms minimum on the back of the Roland for external speakers. I'm about to get this Crown Base 3 power amp out of layaway (i buy most of my *Poop* at pawn shops) and now I'm looking for a pre-amp. I was wondering if i could use the Roland as a pre-amp.

If the Roland has a line out or effects send try those, they should work.
