I've heard that they sound and play very well, but they are some funky looking basses in my opinion.
I'd still like to play one to check it out, and if I were looking for a new bass, and it was the best sounding and playing of all of the basses I tried out, then I'd still buy it in spite of its funky look. |

I like it, it's different . Wouldn't buy one though, I'd stand out too much if I played in public ~_^! |

| i played this bass at guitar center and i love it. the one i played had 2 humbuckers so it was a bit different, but to me its one of the coolest basses ive seen. |

I played one of these things at the Ernie Ball booth at the NAMM show.
Though I think they look cool and futuristic and all, in terms of playability, its gets thumbs down from me. It's awful for slapping...the pickup gets in the way if you ever want to do pulls on the D or G string. I'd rather play with an SUB (which is really just a 21st Century Stingray).
