I saw this Fender bass at the store today. It had a P-Bass body but with a j-bass pickup added as well. The head says it was made in Japan and the clerk at the store said it was rare. It also had 20 frets.
Its not the P-bass Lyte standard either. So anyone know what exactly it is and if its any good? I've never heard of Fenders being made in Japan? Are they good models? |

American made Fenders are the best in my opinion. That goes for any guitar in my opinion. It sounds to me like a Delux pbass. _________________ Sometimes we ride on your horses

btw if it is a delux pbass than it isn't rare unless it is a custom shop or something along those lines. _________________ Sometimes we ride on your horses

| Thanks for replying. I was going to buy it since it was cheap (A little less than $400 and includes the case) but then the guy raised it $100 for some reason. So I moved on. |
