| I could get a deal on this Toby Pro 5 string, do you think its worth it. I've only played with four strings never five though maybe its time to try something new. |

| Does anyone know if the B string wobbles a lot on this guitar. I've played a couple of five strings lately and a few tend to have a wobbly b string. |

Even if it did have a bit of a loose feeling low B string, you can put on a thicker gauge set of strings to put a bit more tension on it, and that could make it ok for you.
My 6 string bass is an older 1995 model, and that was before the idea of a 35" scale for a tighter low B came up.
My Yamaha TRB6P is a 33 3/4" scale and the low B isn't the tightest, but I can move down closer to the bridge when I'm workin' it hard and it sounds and feels fine.
You can always have a luthier drill it later for string through body ferules and maybe a new bridge also, and that will up the tension and increase the response some also, and it's not a very expensive to get that done. |
