Being the proud owner of a pretty swanky home studio, I've been doing a bit of research into converting my bass to be MIDI capable, using the Yamaha B1D piezo pickup and G50 interface.
Has anyone ever tried this or something similair? Apparently you have to place the piezo under the saddle???
Being new to bass, im pretty scared of completely knackering it!! |

You can buy a midi pickup that doesn't require any major alterations to your bass, such as this one by Roland.
