| back @ 1976-1977 I had a very cool hagstrom III guitar, very nice neck and soudn at the time. @ 1982 I switched to bass in the punk era and have not looked back to the guitar. But, I always remember how nice that Hag guitar was, especially the thin fast neck. I see the late 60s era basses go for @ $250 or so and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these. I am sure they have the classic fast Hag neck, but what do the pickups sound like? Do they have any punch at all? |

| These are great. It was their top of the line solid body bass in the mid-60s. Didn't sell well because were fairly expensive; more than a Fender Jazz Bass at the time. Hagstroms were popular mostly for their lower priced models. |
