The price of Entwistle's tribute model is $8450! Shocked
I can't imagine being able to afford such an expensive bass machine, but it sure would be nice, huh?! Mr. Green

Uh... what's Alembic mean? Embarassed
I have never heard of them, and the only time I've seen anything like the photo is in the hands of 70's glam rockers. Prince uses some out there shapes, but I don't know if he uses Alembic. I have simply never heard of them.

Actually, I think prince uses a shecter. A custom model for him.

I don't know what Alembic means, but they are some of the finest guitars and basses available. They are very pricey, but excellent instraments. Phil Lesh from the Grateful Dead used them all the time.

Is this the bass you thought was Prince's? If so, it's a schecter.

Okay, I'll admit that the styles Prince use are a little different, but this schecters mob make a pretty mean sounding axe. Prince's music is friggin' awesome. Whatever you think about the guy, you can't knock the sound.

He sucks, but the guitars are very high quality(Even though I rate their ugliness a 10 out of 5)
