I have a 506II also...its made for bass! it is a cool little pedal, you can get some wild *Poop* out of it...

It looks like two basses in one to me. From top to bottom:

A 4-string fretless (EADG)
A 5-string fretted (BEADG)

That other bass on the other page... you know, the nine string...?
I kinda like it.
I dunno if I'd ever use it, but I think it looks like fun. The one thing I always wondered about (mainly with those double necked guitar monstosities) is whether or not you'd be able to see the bottom half of the neck. Would you be forced to play by feel, or can you get a peek in on what your doing?

and of course you can use distortion on bass...if you want to !

thats an awful lot of strings. doesnt really seem useful since you would probly rarely take advantage of the 15 strings.

It's like 8 strings, where the strings are doubled up. Except on that bass it's a 5 string tripled up.
