i been thinking i want new pickup on my OLP
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/sid=030908185000064012096135988106/g=home/search/detail/base_id/55623

thats it^^ no worries i did not buy it from there.
dont get me wrong i LOVE the monster humbucker but i want a nicer sound/tone(still want humbucker of course) and i also have to change out that bloody input jack (the A-hole gave me the wrong jack he said it would fit) but thats a different story. please ya'll dont tell me "so and so brand" is the best i would like a few details form someones that has experience w changing pickups and what sounds good
--i want it to be compatible with the hardware already in there. so i dont have to change knobs etc (i know ill have to rewire no biggie i dont mind soldering)

yo!

So its an OLP musicman kinda bass right? Ive had expoierience with seymore duncan pickups in the past and they are quite frankly solid! I would have to recomend that you check out their music man replacement system...this will fit straight into you bass exactly, plus it will make you bass sound perhaps better than a real music man (though that may be a debateable statement) and will most certainly increase the value of you bass. check it out at: www.seymourduncan.com

good luck bro
