Best Equilazation Settings?

Alright I look at the equilization on my bass amp "Crate Bt-350" and I just get mad every time I mess with them.. what sounds good on one channel is switched over by another, what is the best settings for the channels, or what do the frequencies mean? and from 1-10 I have Low, Mid, High which would you prefer for the best sound out of my bass?

Thats all about you, man! I use kind of a v-shape to my eq knobs...or high mids if I want my bass to have some projection & depending on the song. but, dude- like I said, its all you- I cant adjust your EQ just as much as I cant tell your ol` lady which teddie to wear tonight. Twisted Evil
