I'm looking for the best 5 string I can get for anywhere up to 700 bucks. _________________ Hey. |

It seems nobody wants to touch this one eh?
Well I don't have any advice either. Go play some basses and pick the one that feels good in your hands. $700 should open up some doors. |

Nobody mentioned my all-time favorite 5-string... Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray. Usually, they cost about 1,000 brand-new but I BET you could find a quality used one for a few hundred less.
I guarentee you'll love them. They're so super-comfortable with a nice, low action and smooth playability. I prefer passive pickups, but with a 5, the actives work quite nicely. Full, thick, varied tones. Awesome instrument all-around.

I've pretty much looked at all of those before and the only one I really liked was the schecter. I have played stingrays and while they are awesome basses, they're not really my favorite. _________________ Hey. |
