Please can someone help Rolling Eyes ! I have a bass which looks like a 4003, with a straight thru neck, but no Rickenbacker badge and no other distinctive names or markings Shocked

I've searched extensively but cannot see any manufacturer of 4003 copies. Can anyone help / suggest who might have manufactured such an item, as I would like to know more about my purchase. Thanks very very much in advance Very Happy

Maybe it was a misprint? That would be awesome, it would be worse insane bucks... does it SOUND like a ric?

I know that Ibanez make a 4003 copy and i'm sure loads of other manufacturers would have made them at some point

The 4003 has a nameplate rather than a painted or applique logo, so it may be that it was unscrewed or removed. Are there three small holes or glue residue on the headstock?
