If your an Ibanez Soundgear fan i played a bass right out of the box that i hadnt seen before. it is the Ibanez SG 810-TS and i own the 400 which is a very nice bass i think and this bass is above and beyond any othe rbass. Warwick doesnt stand a chance against this bass its sound a nd new bridge is ausome the playability is a 10 out of 10. I defenently reccomend this bass to and Ibanez fan

when i wanted to play 5 string bass i was scared that i could not change over to 5 strings so i thought about money. i bought a rogue 5 string and a tech21 basscomp pedal(active circuit sound and compression) and the sound is excellant. 200 doller expirement, smile on my face. its not my main axe but for song that require a five string i will strap it on live anytime. and all you pro's don't nock it till you tried the setup.

I have the neck-thru hartke 5 string and it is a very nice piece. Active electronics with 24 frets. It is the nt5. $280 from Sam Ash. As far as amps go, Trace Elliott is the best I've had and I've had them all! Good luck!

I've spotted a cheap 100W Laney head.
full EQ, filters, DI, etc... all the bells & whistles... :-)
Looks like a professional bass amp.
Has anyone heard of them?
Are they any good?
I thought about stickin' a couple of JBL's,
15" with a horn maybe? under that.
Are JBL's still outrageously expensive?
but still, "the best!"
What do you reckon?

Dee: Are you the Dee Minor from Denver? If so, folks, this guy is a player! I've only heard you once, Dee, and you were subbing, but you sounded great. Sorry I don't know anything about the amp you mentioned. Maybe Noel over at StubbyFex could help you. Dee, if you have any comments on a new thread I'm starting about fretless electrics, please join in...oops, I see you are in Aussieland, so you either relocated, or aren't the same fellow, regards anyway...
