Which of these combinations for playing heavy stuff? 4 string bass, tuned down to C# drop B. Style: Machine Head, Sepultura, etc.
My current amp is a Hartke3500.

Hartke XL-series:
115BXL (1x15") + 4.5XL (=4x10" + 1x5")

OR:

SWR Pro-series:
Son Of Bertha (1x15" + tweeter) + Goliath III (4x10" + horn)

I need something that is capable of handling a powerful heavy, deep sound without distorting too quickly.

I looking for pros, cons, anything.

Other suggestions are also welcome.

Thanx in advance for your input.

Those are all decent cabs, and you might consider a 412 cab, which is what I'm using these days.
They have better low end than a 410, as deep as a 115 or 118, and they still have very quick response, and a frequency range of 30hz - 15,000khz.
