Any experience with this? I ordered it the other day for 15$. I hear it is a great book with a lot of info, but somewhat tough and time consumeing. _________________ Sometimes we ride on your horses

I got the book and man there is tons and tons of information. I learned a world of stuff just in the introduction. I got through part 1 which was Major Arpeggios in root, first, and second form using 2 strings, 3 strings and 4 strings to execute them. Next section is minor, dimmenished and augmented arpeggios. 17 more sections to go. _________________ Sometimes we ride on your horses

I just got the book this week and am starting to look through it.
I'm brand new at the bass and hope I can get a grip on this thing.
Are you still around or any others who have this book. I got it because someone in another thread said get it. |

If you are new to bass you may find the book a little tough. It touches on a lot of inversions and scales and such. Take it a page at a time. _________________ Sometimes we ride on your horses

Okay. I just rang two music stores to try and get this Bass Logic Book, and both of them said that they'd never heard of it. Can someone post the author's name and also who prints/distributes it???
I need a book like the one described! _________________ Alright!

Sweet. The music shops got back to me, and said that it's not available in Australia yet.
I'll check out Amazon.
Thanks. _________________ Alright!

Bill Edwards is the author and the ISBN is 0-9624770, if that helps.
Okay, so it's alot of stuff I don't quite understand, but that's the fun. I suppose it will help to have real players explain to me some of the more technical jargon.
Any pointers from you all on bassic fundamentals?
Thanks |

Hmmm..just tried a serch in Amazon.co.uk and can't find this book. It doesn't seem to bring it up using either the author name or the ISBN number.
The only thing I could find was a fretboard logic book???? _________________ What kind of a world do we live in, when passing rufians can say 'NI' to old ladies? |
