Change the color and change the fretboard to rosewood and I'd be deeply in love....

Hail Quarter Pounders! Has anyone played this sweet bass?

I would LOVE to get it, but since my current instrument is a P-bass with QPs anyway, I have to make some more important things (like an amp that doesn't suck) a priority first. Having said that, however, I'm definitely going to get this bass some day somewhere down the line.

I found it online somewhere... I forget where exactly. I WISH I found it onsale at my local shop Wink Unfortunately, it's a pretty rare instrument and I've heard it's hard for people to get their hands on them.

I was just listening to Maiden a little while ago. One of the things I love about them (as opposed to SOME metal bands) is that the bass is never drowned out... it's always front and center. Steve Harris is talented as a lyricist, songwriter and most noticibly, one of the dudes who made metal bass playing as legitimate and cool as metal guitar playing. Not to mention the fact that this is my all-time favorite Sig model.

The OTHER famous Quarter-Pounder-equipped signature (hint - it's from a band that rhymes with "Stink-182") is a shadow of this power-hungry metal fiend.

Up the Irons! #Evil Bat

I'm just joking. Cool It's all good, we're playful here. Mr. Green

Seriously, I WANT that bass, but I can't afford it at this time. If you're sure you want to sell yours, I'll let some people know to check out this thread and they can holla back. Cool? Smile

Just out of curiosity, are you a Maiden fan? I've heard the new album is good.

I've heard a bit of it and Dave Murray has said in a recent interview that they stay true to the Maiden spirit. I love that band. Steve Harris is the man and the embodiment of metal. I even like their more underrated stuff like "Mother Russia". Awesomeness.

Just picked up a 2001 Steve Harris for $250 with a Fender HSC. It's got a great sound. Any idea what they're going for? Did I get a deal here?

UH, YEAH I'D SAY YOU GOT A GOOD DEAL. THE PICKUPS AND BRIDGE ALONE WOULD COST YOU MORE THAN HALF OF THAT.
