I've been told by the Canadian distributor of Kuwai Pianos that they are discontinuing their line of bass guitars to concentrate only on keyboards. He told be that Kuwai made a very very good bass. They retailed for $1600 and up but the manufacturer is now clearing them out directly from the factory for around $400 to $600. Has anybody ever heard of this make of bass before and does anybody know if they are any good?

never heard of 'em. but you could get a pretty good Fender for that price too.
