does anyone have any pointers on double thumbing? is it when you slap w/ ur thumb and then bring it under the string and pop? i'm not sure, please help... also does anyone have any tapping exercizes i can do so i can get my strength, speed, and acuracy up? thanks. _________________ Warwick Corvette Standard 6string

Yes you guessed right, and you down stroke with your thumb, and then pop it on the up stroke with the thumb, all in one down and back movement of the thumb, or 'double thumbing'.
I've never had a need for the technique myself, but a lot of funk players like to use it. |
