mau and gibby - My new pickups reign. They are incredibly powerful and at the same time, retain definition. They are Quarter Pounders and I am *Holy Censor, Batman* sure that they're the best balance of power, aggression and unimpeded clarity that I've used so far. And they're passive. And they look hella cool. HIGHLY recommended if you need well-rounded pickups.
grey - Thanks, man. I wanted that decal SOOO bad, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Finally, I went to this local guy who makes custom shirts and stickers for bands, organizations, etc. He did a GREAT job. I have the coolest-looking Strat I know because of that graphic. |

| Me and a friend bought another friend some replacement PU's for his Jazz bass as a gift a few years ago. Basslines. I can't say which model # but they're passive and they sound amazing. |

For their fourth album, Zeppelin decided that instead of their name, they would each choose a symbol that represents a different member.
The first one on the left is Page's. No one is one hundred percent positive where it came from, but some have theories that it was developed based on the alphabet of the ancient Mu civilization. It resembles the word "zoso" (if such a word existed), so a lot of people dubbed the nameless album "zoso".
The second one from the left is John Paul Jones' symbol. The bass player is said to have drawn it himself.
The third one is Bonzo's. The three circles are supposed to represent familial unity (one ring for mother, one for father, one for child) but some people notice a similarity between the symbol and the logo for Ballantine beer. (go figure)
The fourth one is Plant's. It's a feather in a circle.
Sorry if I'm repeating stuff you know, I just thought you might like to know about the symbols and where they came from. |

John Paul Jones` symbol is known as a 'triquetra' - a symbol derived from ancient Celtic knotwork & adopted by Christians around St. Patrick's time as a symbol of the Trinity(Father, Son, & Holy Spirit). The interweaving lines represent One being in Three seperate, but equal parts.
also used in witchcraft & the occult(notice the formation- 666)
also used on some bibles...
and by the band P.O.D.
One of my hobbies is old Celtic symbols & knotwork...
heres a cool page on

Yeah Led Zeppelin great. The symbols are celtic knots, (is knot spelled that way in this context) and the album's name is Led Zeppelin IV (after I, II and III) sometimes it's refered to as Zoso or IV.
As for the music on it, it's probably one of their best albums. You can't beat Led Zeppelin man, (unless you happen to be a member of the Beatles). |

that page on the zoso symbol is pretty interesting... the word "ZOSO" isnt a word at all, but a group of astrological (and occult) symbols that resemble a word!that darn jimmy page... _________________ --==Warum tut es weh, wenn ich pinkele?==-- |
