| lol, the only reason i like Gibson basses is the look of the thunderbird with natural finish and the pearl white pickguard, it's just awesome. sure i'd probably have to do a little modding to make it more cool SOUNDING, but it'd be awesome even then |

I've tried one out--you're talking about the one that looks something like the old '51 P-bass? The neck is nothing like a real vintage P-bass. Much nicer neck.
Overall, I liked this bass. It feels good and it had a good sound. While it's not on my list of must-have basses, it is certainly not out of the question that I might buy one. Personally, I liked it. |

the only fender that i have actually looked at thought it looks nice from the getgo is a aerodyne in maple red. but they dont make it in red nemore (the black one looks nice too, but not near as nice) _________________ The few. The proud. The Bass players.

Vintage, old and simple.
Took off the pickguard.
Got the Vintage case.
She Plays nice.

| I tried one at Guitar Center recently. I liked the look but was dissappointed in the sound. Not enough versatiliy and not enough edge for me. Much prefer a p/j or jazz.... |
