GHS BOOMERS ALL THE WAY!

i cant stand new strings... they sound SOOOO bad, all metalic clinky. no punch or warmth to them at all. and thats what i hate about trying basses at stores. they always have new strings onem and it makes sound like crap.

Have you tried ground-round, or flat wound strings, not as tinny-metalic sounding, warmer sound.
