The B-15n....what a jewel. The only thing better than the B-15n is the B-18n just because I prefer an 18. I do not know of a reference for that fact, but my old guitar teacher grew up in the era that those were popular. He said that every band he hung out with, the bass player would almost always record or at least gig with a B-15n or 18n. He use to work at a local guitar shop in the late 1970's. He sold to folks like John Paul Jones and John Entwistle. Hell, he even got to sell Jerry Garcia a Gibson Humming Bird. He took a picture of him and Jerry with the guitar as he is a huge Deadhead. He told me that after having conversations with some of the big names, he pretty much knew what they used and when. He said supriseingly a lot of big name bass players also recorded with the ampeg porteflexs. _________________ Sometimes we ride on your horses
