Could you buy a combo amp then play it through a cab? This would be a lot easier for me 'cause I could bring the combo to practices and the whole setup to gigs. That way my little itty body can caarry it out of my house : ) _________________ Hey. |

I use an extention cab (4x10 ampeg or a 1x15 SWR son of bertha) on my Trace combo... usually theres a plugin for one on the larger combos...really helps the sound out ALOT... _________________ --==Warum tut es weh, wenn ich pinkele?==-- |

Okay, cool. What would be a nice sized combo, or any suggestions on which one to get? I don't really need a cab yet, not for a while. _________________ Hey. |

thats the way to do it! for dirty tuber combos, try out some fender(choke) Bassman combos, the old ones...for clean & loud, try Trace Elliot, SWR, Hartke etc. ... But, bottom line is- picking out a mans amp for him is like picking his nose for him---its something a mans gotta do for himself...or something like that... _________________ --==Warum tut es weh, wenn ich pinkele?==-- |

You can pick your friend. You can pick your nose. But you can't pick your friend's nose. Are ampeg combos any good? _________________ Hey. |
