Gibby (or anyone else interested)

The new issue of Bass Guitar Magazine is out and it has an awesome photo of Bruce.... EB in hand. Don't get this magazine confused with Guitar World's Bass Guitar (which has Trujillo on the cover) or Bass Player (which has Tim Commerford)... Bass Guitar Magazine is a British publication that's kind of rare here in the states and costs about eight bucks an issue.

Assuming you can get your hands on it at all, it has a really cool interview with Jack. It's a pretty good read if you're into that guy (and who the hell ISN'T?)

That's a cool picture of the great bassist there on that cover!
Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember the first time I heard Cream, and they were a brand new band back then!
Sheesh I'm gettin' old, and time just flies by!! Shocked

NICE!!! Jack Bruce was one of the ones to introduce the "lead" bass style. He is truly an awesome & talented bassist! I started a Jack Bruce page on my website... http://*

I recognize that photo...it was taken at the Oval Cricket grounds in Kennington, London. Late 1972. I was there.

Jack Bruce is truly a God. He was mainly responsible for me taking up bass.

Although this is a very old topic, it's good to see people out there who appreciate both Gibsons and Jack Bruce. I wish I could have purchased a copy of that magazine, though.
