actually, YES gibby, it does soak up 200 watts from the house, but i'm not sure if that helps its extra power, but i'm *Holy Censor, Batman* sure it's not giving a full 200 watts output. loudest 65 watter i've heard for sure though, i'm looking carefully nowadays for amps that sound like that but louder. hell, the thing competes with an ampeg b-100R decently, even if it's softer by a bit.
