I got a really *Poop* 15 watt Samick Bass Amp. I believe it has an 8" speaker. There is no way in hell that it could handle a low B from a 5-String.

I got him messin around with my EB-0... He sits down on one of the gargantuate beanbags in my living room & plays it across his lap...All he can play now is the theme song from the "Exorcist"(Mike Olfield-Tubular Bells) Laughing

Don't they make like little "trainer" electric basses and guitars for kids. I think they're really cheap too, maybe you should research it a bit. At that early of an age he could go up to be the next Victor Wooten or Jaco.
