What do you all think is the best Gibson bass? I would say the EBO but it is too short. I like vintage single pickup Thunderbirds. _________________ Sometimes we ride on your horses

| I'd have to go with my 1977 RD Standard. Obviously! |

New Thunderbirds aren't bad at all. Me, I just prefer vintage stuff. Preferably pre 1980s _________________ Sometimes we ride on your horses

I vote for an EB-3L.... awesome tone, long scale & looks that kill...EB-0`s also came in a longscale version if you like the thundermud! I own a 68 EB-0, Its the nicest playing bass (vintage) Ive owned...
EB-3L (1972)
EB-0 (1962)

Thats a neat bass! I never have seen one like that. I would prefer the SG body though. _________________ Sometimes we ride on your horses

from `59 to `61, all EB-0`s had the Les Paul JR slab style body...I dig em cause they`re rare birds- I could sell a `60 EB-0 & buy 5 `62 EB-0`s... The SG style does look way cooler, though... check out my buddies `68 EB-0...
80 hours of woodworking, a DiMarzio Model one at the neck & a stock EB-3 bridge pup - also a very early badass bridge...Im soooo in love...

T-birds.
Solid black... a bass to be seen with. Hell, a bass to be HEARD and FELT, too. |
