I wish someone would offer a Heritage Cherry one. I already have a black LPB-1... black is hard to keep shiny. |

That's true, but I know I'm settling if I get the black instead of the HC. I may give up the quest and take a black one eventually... but I really want a diff color than I have in a Gibby already. _________________ "Things will fall into place. Just don't let them fall apart." - my Dad |

sure! cherry is the trademark gibson color, looks pretty awesome & someone could see you a mile away & know you were pluggin on a gibby come to think of it, I never owned a Gibson any other color. EB-3`s, EB-0`s,EB-0F`s,EB-0L`s... all cherry... _________________ --==Warum tut es weh, wenn ich pinkele?==-- |

I've have had a cherry EB-0. I almost got the cherry sunburst when I had them make my Les Paul, but I decided on Translucent Amber because I knew that it would naturally burst over the next 30 years or so.
It kinda matches my guitarist's 59 flametop. Looks cool when we play them together... but I mostly play my Special. I don't have any pics of it, though.
An SG-Z, EB-3L, and another EB-0 (hopefully an EB-1 for the fun of it) are my wanted additions to my arsenal. _________________ "Things will fall into place. Just don't let them fall apart." - my Dad |

I just recently got my first Gibson bass and it is only my second bass that i have played. It is a 1976 Gibson Grabber so I think this is my favorite _________________ Two words Gibson Grabber |

Hello All,
First post. As an owner of many Gibsons past and present, I'd have to vote for the EB-3. It has the look, feel and sound to carry off it's #1 position. _________________ Where'd the bass go? |

I'm so glad ( no pun intended ) that there is a forum devoted to the Gibson bass. They are so underrated. If you want to create real thunder, it's Gibson all the way. I even like the new Thunderbirds. You can't beat 'em for rock. Whenever I want to learn a new tune, it's time to break out the EB-3. Then I end up hammering it for a week or so.
Glad to be on board. _________________ Where'd the bass go? |
