Question about the Behringer BX600 for a begginer

I'm a begginer in bass playing. I recently got a bass guitar as a gift but I haven't got an amp for it. I've been playing it on a Peavey 112 express guitar amp.I was wondering if the Behringer BX600 bass amp is good for a begginer like me. Or should I stick to my Peavey guitar amp until it burns out. Thanks.

Forgot to say that I haven't got a lot of money to spend. I'm looking for something around $200.

It will sound a lot better than your guitar amp will! It looks like a good amp to me. There's a lot of decent amps in that price range. Go for it.

I have a Behringer BX300 bass amp and its a *Holy Censor, Batman* nice little amp for the $. This one is a great amp for practice and small room gigs, it may be all you need. I picked it up from Samedaymusic.com, they have great prices, ship fast and the shipping charges are cheapo, which makes a difference on a heavy item like an amp.

I have the bx600. Its fine for beginners, ive been using it for the last 3 months or so and its been good enough for my requirements. Good piece of equipment for the price.
