Gibsons are definitely awesome. I don't know if I'd call myself a "Gibson freak".... I've never owned one before. I want a T-bird really *Golly Gee* bad, though. They're nice and thick with a lot of heaviness and dark tone.
Do you play guitar at all? I'm a Les Paul man through and through when it comes to six-strings. |

| I hate when it does that! It says "you can not make a post so soon after your last one" then it actually posts it so you do it again and it works but now there's really two! |

I got the bass from a friend for $475 with case. A steal.
As I said in another post. They are rare, but can be found once in a while on ebay. I see them going anywhere from $650 to $800 and up. I imagine one day this will be worth even more. It's in excellent condition. I lucked out on this one. |

Gibsons are cool. I am a bigger fan of their guitars than I am of their basses. I do like the EBOs but they are a little short for my size. _________________ Sometimes we ride on your horses

I think you can trust ebay for the most part. Just be careful. Take a good look at the sellers rating and feedback. A lot of guitar sellers on ebay are actually music stores, not just single people.
Personally, I don't like buying high dollar items on ebay but I have friends who are very succesful buying and selling guitars on ebay. It's been a while since I've seen an RD on ebay, but then I havn't looked in a while either!
The RD is a 35 or 36 scale bass. Longer than your typical 34. It doesn't seem like much but it feels a lot different. |

nice set of strings, supermau!!! as far as EB`s being too short, they did make an EB-0L- 36" scale- same thunder, bigger frets... I do play a little guitar, all I have now is an old Gibson acoustic...Id love to pick up an ol` SG or LP, but all my bread is going into my latest frankenbass project...it`s a Kalamazoo that im putting turqoise inlay in the fretboard, re-finishing in candy-apple blue with a satin black undercoat, schaller pegs & of course the stock sidewinder humbucker...
UPDATE! im doin it all to a squire p-bass...the kalamazoo is staying stock _________________ --==Warum tut es weh, wenn ich pinkele?==--
